Furniture Disassembly / Reassembly Service

One of the less obvious benefits of flatpack furniture is that it can be professionally disassembled just as successfully as it was constructed. When you have invested serious money in your wardrobes then why not take them with you when you move.

Our customers are often surprised that we have assembled one set of wardrobes 3 times. The first when we built them out of the boxes,  the next time after we had disassembled them for her removal company to transport and finally after she need to reorganise the house to create a nursery next to the bedroom, consigning her walk-in wardrobe up to the loft. After the final reassembly we are pleased to say they looked just as good as the first we built them 2 years before.

It might seem straightforward to disassemble furniture. That's probably true if you don't have to reassemble it some hours or weeks later, especially without the original assembly instructions. We draw up a plan as we take down your furniture so it all goes back together just as before; either if we are dong it for you or it is being shipped overseas. We also ensure that anything that could break is removed and safely packed away along with all the fittings. This means there is far less chance of your furniture being damaged in transit or any parts being mislaid.

We recommend getting us in a day or so before the move day. We dismantle the furniture into easily transported pieces. We suggest that you ask the removers to load the wardrobes last. On the day of the move, we will aim to meet you at your new property as the removers arrive, so they can unload the disassembled furniture first. Once we get going in an empty room, your wardrobes will be ready in a couple of hours for you to unpack your clothes into straight away.

We can sometimes help with transporting the furniture if it is just a few pieces, subject to availability, just give us call.
